Ever since she moved to Portland in 1993, Hilary has been involved with organizations that celebrate our city’s distinctive architecture, fascinating history and beautiful setting. For 19 years she served as executive director of Greater Portland Landmarks, advocating for and sharing the stories behind the remarkable historic buildings, neighborhoods, and parks that define our community. She is excited to share her enthusiasm for Portland along with her extensive local knowledge and connections. Hilary is committed to the highest level of service to her clients: honesty, professionalism, competence, and confidentiality.
Hilary’s interest in architecture began in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky which boasts a fine array of Victorian, Colonia Revival, Craftsman and mid-century houses, as well as contemporary buildings. She graduated from Wellesley College in Art History and Spanish and Indiana University with an MBA, and has also lived in Indianapolis, Midland, Michigan, and Minneapolis.
